For all our fiberoptic immersion probes or flow cells we place our confidence in the optic material Sapphire. This confidence is based on Sapphire’s crystalline structure and its superior capacity to durably withstand corrosion and abrasion. Only when measuring in short-wave UV ranges do we employ quartz optics.
